Posture

Everyone’s posture is different so there is no perfect posture for playing golf. However, keeping your posture aligned throughout your stroke will result in consistency and solid contact with the golf ball.

Here are some key elements for sustaining good posture.

  • Proper flex in your knees
  • Proper tilt towards the golf ball from the hip sockets
  • Chin up – not tucked towards your chest
  • A good spine angle – not leaning too far forward or too straight vertically

After setting up to the ball, align your posture to where you feel comfortable. Again, being comfortable is crucial so you don’t create tension in your body. Tension in your body will result in poor execution.
